
Marana is a growing town located northwest of Tucson in Pima County, Arizona, United States. The Town incorporated in 1977. The population was 13,556 at the 2000 census. A July 1, 2005 estimate by the Pima Association of Governments put Marana's population at 26,725. According to 2005 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 26,098.[1] Marana was the fourth fastest-growing place among all cities and towns in Arizona of any size from 1990 to 2000.
