Lake Montezuma is a census-designated place (CDP) in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. United States. The population was 3,344 at the 2000 census. The Lake Montezuma CDP includes the communities of Rimrock and McGuireville. Lake Montezuma/Rimrock is presently (2006) the fastest-growing community in Yavapai County. The three communities are surrounded by the Coconino National Forest, and are about 20 minutes from the red rocks of Sedona.
