Sheridan is a city in Sheridan County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 15,804 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Sheridan CountyGR6. Sheridan is located at 44°47′48″N, 106°57′32″W (44.796720, -106.958970)GR1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 22.0 km˛ (8.5 mi˛). 22.0 km˛ (8.5 mi˛) of it is land and 0.1 km˛ (0.04 mi˛) of it (0.24%) is water.
