Eagle-Vail is a census-designated place (CDP) in Eagle County, Colorado along Interstate 70 and the Eagle River. The population was 2,887 at the 2000 census. Eagle-Vail is located at (39.621343, -106.492126). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 5.1 km² (2.0 mi²).
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,887 people, 1,083 households, and 552 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 563.0/km² (1,461.4/mi²). There were 1,482 housing units at an average density of 289.0/km² (750.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.84% White, 0.28% African American, 0.35% Native American, 0.45% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 1.04% from other races, and 1.97% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.50% of the population.
