So you've you've just realized that your about to turn 30. It seemed like just yesterday that you graduated college with 45k in loans and other debt. Then you moved to the big city to find the big job and spent an exhorborant amount on what barely qualifies as a one-bedroom apartment. Now your not so sure what you're doing or where you're going and why you don't have health insurance and well that's when your ready for the quarter life crisis. If you haven't already started it's time to begin filling all those empty spots in your life with toys, gadgets and other brick-a-brack.
First off you gotta have your cell phone, perhaps the 'Motorola V600 Phone (T-Mobile)', armed to the gills with tons of features you'll never quite figure out but nonetheless it is your mighty scepter in this digital age.
Secondly you will need an 'Apple 20 GB iPod (M9282LL/A)', especially if you spend two-plus hours commuting everyday and trying best to ignore that man yelling at his cheeseburger or that woman and her seven sceaming children.
A computer is also very very essential. It's important to keep mobile. I'm not sure exactly why but I recommend having an 'Apple PowerBook Notebook 12.1" M9007LL/A (1.0-GHz PowerPC G4, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive)'. You'll also need an 'Apple M8881LL/A AirPort Extreme Card' so you can internet access at the place where you get your coffee.
For the home you might want an 'Apple AirPort Express with Air Tunes (M9470LL/A)'; again to get online but also to broadcast all the music you've download legally (or not) that is stored on your 'LaCie 80GB Firewire Desktop Hard Drive ( 300699U ) P3 design by FA Porsche'.
Because you're a man of the people it's best that you own both a 'PlayStation 2 Online Pack with ATV Offroad Fury 2 and Network Adapter' and a 'Xbox Core Console USM'. You wouldn't want to be accused of playing favorites. Best also include 'Madden NFL 2005' which you really don't get to play so much with the guys anymore since Jimmy got married and had one of those 'baby' things and Billy started working overtime at the law office. Instead, actually you find yourself playing 'Karaoke Revolution Vol. 2'. Best not to ask why.
Now you didn't get to take a vacation this year but at least you managed to get the 'ONKYO Envision Theater Home Theater Sound System LS-V955'. And it sounds great! It's helped to facilitate feeding that nostalgic urge for simpler times with a mini animation festival: 'G.I. Joe Season 1, Part 1', 'G.I. Joe - Season 1, Part 2', 'Transformers - First Season Collector's Edition'. Wow, you're generally figuring out how you got duped into this whole consumerism thing at such a young age.
At some point it might not hurt to start thumbing through this: 'The Pathfinder : How to Choose or Change Your Career for a Lifetime of Satisfaction and Success'. You might want to offset that by watching this: 'Office Space (Widescreen Edition)'. But if your find yourself watching this too often: 'Fight Club', then you should also pick up some of this: 'Prozac (Potency: 7C)'.
Ok, so what to do for real? Well,and get out there and exercise a little and then come home and cook yourself a good healthy meal with the handy and versatile 'Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 9-Inch, 2-Quart Chef's Skillet with Lid'.
