The Roomba vacuum cleaner allows you to keep your floors clean without the hassle of vacuuming on a daily basis. The Roomba can automatically sense stairs and will avoid them. If the Roomba does get too close to the stairs and its wheels go over the edge, it will automatically shut off.
If your Roomba gets stuck anywhere while vacuuming, it has a variety of pre programmed escape maneuvers. If it is still unable to move, it will emit a call for help. If there are areas that you want to keep your Roomba away from, you can set up virtual walls. These small boxes emit an electrosonic beam that the Roomba will not cross.
Additional features include a self-charging base that the Roomba will return to on its own, and a dirt sensor that will help guide the Roomba where it needs to go. The Roomba also works great at cleaning along the edge of the rooms as well as under beds and low furniture. The low clearance of the Roomba gives it access to places that other vacuums can't reach.
