The Nokia 6610 combines the traditional Nokia look with some nifty features to create a quality phone. Like most Nokia products, the design is sleek, classic, and functional. This phone has great reception, even in off-the-beaten-path locations. The lithium-ion battery is rated at up to five hours digital talk time, and up to 12 days of digital standby.

The 6610 has the Nokia look that has become so familiar. A 128 by 128 pixel, 4k color screen graces the top of the phone, with the easy-to-use keypad beneath. A four-way control key provides access to the phone's menus and functions. The internal antenna means that it won't get snagged on a sweater or break off.

The Nokia 6610 comes with 20 polyphonic ringtones pre-loaded, with more available for download. The phone also has a vibrate made when a ringing telephone would be rude or intrusive, such as at the movies or in meetings. The address book has space for 300 names, each with multiple entries, which should be more than enough for most people. The normal accessories are available: a calculator, to-do list, calendar, and an alarm clock. The 6610's calendar and phonebook can also be synched to a PC. Nokia offers free software on its website to facilitate this.

Of course, the Nokia 6610 also features MMS messaging and internet capabilities. For text messaging, the 6610 has T9 technology, which aids and speeds up the user inputting text from the keypad. The internet application allows users to add ringtones, wallpapers, and other items to customize the phone.
