Nokia 3120

Nokia is one of the leaders worldwide in the manufacture of cellular phones. The reason for this is simple: Nokia's business goal is to manufacture quality phones at affordable prices. Such a phone is the Nokia 3120. Like so many Nokia phones, the device is small and unobtrusive, yet robust enough to contain all of the features that most people looks for in a cell phone.

The Nokia 3120 is compact, at just 4.01 inches long, 1.68 inches wide, and .76 inches thick. This small size contains a powerful phone, however. The large (128 by 128 pixels) display is easy to read, with up to 4,096 colors. There is an integrated speakerphone for convenient, hands-free communication, a vibrating alert, and an internal antenna.

The phonebook can contain up to 300 names. Each name can have up to five individual numbers and three text entries. Photos can be downloaded to phonebook entries as well, meaning a quick glance will indicate exactly who's calling. The Nokia 3120 also helps with productivity, with a 500-entry calendar, alarm with snooze (no more travel alarm clocks), stopwatch, and countdown timer.

The 3120 can be personalized as well, to fit the personality of its owner. There are animated screensavers, eight different color schemes, and polyphonic ring tones. A person may also record up to one minute of voice or music for a personalized ring tone. Three Java games are included on the phone: Snake EX2, Beach Rally, and Bowling. Additional ring tones, wallpapers, games, and more can be downloaded for further customization.
