Millions of women are looking for the perfect lipstick. They want a product with a gorgeous color that lasts for hours and doesn't rub off on clothing, cups, or boyfriends. Cheap lipsticks often dry up over the course of hours (or even 15 minutes), leaving areas of your lips uncolored while other areas are saturated with color--a look that even the most gorgeous of supermodels would have a hard time pulling off.

You shouldn't run into any such problems with most quality lipsticks. MAC, Mary Kay, Lancome, and Estee Lauder lipsticks, among others, offer a tremendous variety of colors in moisture-rich formulas. You can get matte colors that are suitable to wear to the office, and trendy colors that are alive with sparkle to wear in the evening and about town.

It's not a bad idea to look for a lipstick with an SPF of 10 or 15. It's important to protect your lips from sun damage, which can cause cancer and wrinkles--not to mention dry lips. While some people get their SPF from a lip balm with no color, if you want no-fuss option, it's better to get a lipstick with SPF included than worry about layering products on your lips.
