Guild guitars are some of the more beautiful and playable acoustic guitars in the industry. The company focuses on both acoustic and acoustic electric guitars, and simply put, Guild makes high-quality products. Guild has a lot of great guitars to choose from, and the company continues to develop new models every year.Let's take a look at a couple of the newest Guild acoustic guitars to come out. The GAD-25 is a great new addition to the Guild lineup. It comes in a dreadnaught, or "classic" body style, and it is made of solid mahogany--top, sides, and back. The GAD-25 features an Indian rosewood fretboard, as well as an Indian rosewood pin bridge. Additionally, the GAD-25 features a dovetail neck joint and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Some feel this instrument resembles a vintage Guild guitar.
Another one of the recent additions to the Guild guitar lineup is the GAD-30. This model has an orchestra body style, and it is composed of a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Like the GAD-25 the fretboard is made of rosewood. The hardware on the GAD-30 is chrome, and it has a high-gloss finish.
Though Guild continues to innovate, the company hasn't stopped producing classics like the Benedetto Signature models. The Stuart Guild guitar is a beautiful archtop guitar done in the classic style. It has an ebony fretboard with abalone and mother-of-pearl inlays. To top it off, the Stuart has gold plated hardware, a full Venetian cutaway, and an engraved harp tailpiece. This model comes complete with two Benedetto humbucking pickups.
