Those who have iPods tend to be quite loyal to their devices. As a direct result of the public's love of the iPod, there is a vast array of iPod accessories one can purchase to accentuate these little wonders. One of the most popular of the iPod accessories is the iPod case. Not all iPod cases are created equal, however, and you can find quite a bit of variety when it comes to styles and colors. One of the most popular of the iPod cases is the "skin" style case. These cases distinguish themselves by being "skintight" on the iPod. They are designed to fit iPods snugly so that the iPod remains an easily portable and stylish accoutrement. You can find them in a variety of transparent colors, and the best of these come with a lanyard so that you can hang the iPod around your neck.

You can find other, more traditional cases for iPods as well. There are some that are zip up, notebook style cases that are cushioned for the ultimate in iPod protection. Some of the more sophisticated versions even have interior pockets for holding other iPod accessories in place, e.g. AC adaptor, headphones, etc.

Another one of the popular iPod case styles that goes more in line with the "skin" type is the zip up plastic case iPod. These are not quite as skintight as the abovementioned cases, but they offer many of the same benefits. For example, with this style case you can still listen to your iPod while it is safely stored away. Zippered plastic cases come in a wide variety of colorful designs and are generally inexpensive.
