One of the advantages of going with a Canon EOS SLR digital camera is that you can adapt it with over 50 different kinds of lenses. So what are some interesting lenses which you can employ to heighten your camera's sensitivity, speed, focus, and image quality? In the cheaper range, you can get plastic attachments. These are easy to mount, but frankly don't provide much of an advantage as far as focusing is concerned.

Consider whether you want to get image stabilization (IS) in your lens. This fresh technology employs gyroscopic action to eliminate the potential for hand tremors to influence image quality. Whisper quiet, optimized, and useful in a variety of circumstances, IS technology will certainly add a little bit to the price tag of your lens, but may be very worth the cost.
