Bose Acoustimass

Bose Acoustimass are powerful, smaller speaker systems that use Bose's patented sound technology to fit a lot of drive into a small package. The surround sound speaker systems that feature Acoustimass technology come in six, 10 and 16 speaker sets. As well, Bose Acoustimass utilizes "invisible" technology to provide booming sound without the presence of a large home theater speaker system.

Bose speakers have long been prized among audiophiles for their reputation. The Bose Acoustimass system is just one of their many innovations. The Bose Acoustimass stereo system for home theaters comes with cube array speakers, an Acoustimass module and cables to connect the system.

Technical Specifications
The Bose Acoustimass module itself features three downward-firing drivers to provide an impacting, strong sound. This hideaway module can be tucked anywhere, for an invisible sound source in your home theater system. Further, the cube array speakers, at just a few inches square, are easily wall-mounted and take up very little space.

Each system features either standard 5.1 channel or 6.1 channel Dolby surround sound to optimize DVD sound performance. The six-speaker system is ideal for smaller spaces and even the 16-speaker system fits comfortably within most sized rooms.

Accessories are also available for the cube array speakers. Universal floor stands come in pairs and offer a creative alternative to wall mounting. Ceiling brackets are sold separately and hold two cube array speakers in one mount. Universal table stands are also available for mounting speakers seven inches high on flat surfaces like desks, entertainment centers, or bookshelves.
