Pokemon Music

There have been several Pokemon CDs that have been released in North America, most of them in conjunction with the theatrical releases of the first three Pokemon films. These releases were commonplace until late 2001. On March 27, 2007, a tenth anniversary CD was released containing 18 tracks from the English dub; this was the first English-language release in over five years. Soundtracks of the Pokemon feature films have been released in Japan each year in conjunction with the theatrical releases.

Whats a good TV show without the music to go along with it? So far, there have been several TV based albums, our favorites being Pokemon 2.B.A. Master, Totally Pokemon (From the TV Series) and Pokemon: Christmas Bash. Of course, there are also the movie soundtracks to fall back on: Pokemon: The First Movie, Pokemon 2000 Power of One and Pokemon 3 The Ultimate Soundtrack (2001 Film).

When you are done with the games and want to take a break from the TV show, some people might like to sit down with a good Pokemon book, so there are both Chapter Books (Pokemon Charizard, Go! (Pokemon Chapter Book #6)) as well as Junior Chapter Books (Surfs Up, Pikachu! (Pokémon Junior Chapter Book)). And what Pokemon Trainer is complete without The Official Pokemon Handbook? Very outdated, but interesting non-the-less. Lets face it, we all love books. The Official Pokémon Handbook is a great guide for any beginner to get familiar with the Pokemon and get to know their special stats, while Night in the Haunted Tower (Pokemon Chapter Book #4) and other books like that can keep you up-to-date when perhaps you miss an episode.
