| The Machine! 'Apple Mac mini M9686LL/A (G4 1.25GHz, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB Hard Drive, DVD/CD-RW Drive)' Packs a powerful punch in a tiny package. Needed Extras 'Apple USB Keyboard - White' You may already have your own keyboard but the extra USB ports plus an eject key and volume controls are worth the money. 'KMW72127 PilotMouse, 2-Button Programmable, Optical, Corded, Silver' Again you may already have your own mouse, this just happens to be the one I use and like. Comfortable for large hands. 'KDS XF-7BK Xtreme Flat 17" CRT Monitor (Black)' You might have your own, but this one's 17", flat, and cheap. Useful Extras 'JBL Duet PC Speakers (2-Speaker, Silver)' Quite frankly, the "speakers" that are built into your Mac mini suck, these are the best combination of price and quality. If you plan to stick a music CD into the computer and listen to it, you will need these. 'Apple iWork '05 (Mac)' The two "office" programs the majority of people need and use: a word processor and presentation software. Fully compatible with Word and about $70 cheaper than Microsoft Office: Student/Teacher. 'HP Deskjet 3745 Color Inkjet Printer' Your own printer comes pretty close to a must, and this is quite possibly; the smallest and cheapest printer that you won't curse at. 'Iogear GUH275 4-Port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 MicroHub' If you have any MP3 Players or digital cameras etc. and don't want to always be doing something like unplugging your printer, this is a good bet. If you've got the money... 'ViewSonic VE710S-2 17" LCD Monitor (Silver)' Has to be one of the best looking, best rated, cheapest LCD monitors. 'Apple 20 GB iPod M9282LL/A' The songs are already in iTunes... 'Logitech Z-3i 3-Piece Speaker System (Silver)' Takes up more space and more $$ but a nice speaker set-up. |
