Washing my toddlers Hair was a chore...moving around causing shampoo and water in eyes and ears...which drove her crazy. SOOOOOOO...
I purchased 2mm Foamies from Walmart 9 x 12 sheet. I cut out a long oval...wider at one end.(like a visor)..then I cut a small hole toward the smaller end of the oval leaving about 1/2 inch to 1 inch on the sides(front will be longer) ...and kept cutting until I reached the fit of her head where it wasn't tight but comfortable as to not let water or shampoo flow threw.
This .69 cent piece of foam has saved a lot of money...no trips to the doctor for ear problems and bathing is so much more enjoyable for the both of us. The fun part is ...I let her color on it and decorate it...so she was proud to wear it when it was time to wash her hair it wasn't a fight.
I know that there is something like that out on the market but finding is a chore and 2 it cost a lot more than .69 cents.
You will fit over the head down to the neck and then pull up to the forehead and behind the neck and over the ears ...making sure that all the hair is on the other side of your home made shampoo cap for Toddlers.
This was a success in our home and I hope it will be a success for yours as well.
NOTE: This workes for pets too...with the exception it will go under the pets neck and around the back of ears instead of behind the neck. Very helpful when using flea and tick shampoo so not to get in the eyes of your pet.
