| My wife and I bought an older home last year. It turns out it need more work than we first thought. Most of it involved correcting the mistakes of the last owner. These tools are on the top of my list for most handy. 'Shark Corp 21-2220 8" Prybar and Nail Puller' I used this to rip out the poorly installed quarter round moulding and finishing nails prior to have the floors refinished 'Klein Klein-Kurve Wire Stripper/Cutter Solid and Stranded Wire' Once someone shows you how to change switches and electrical fixtures this guy comes in real handy. 'KLEIN TOOLS Rotary Screwdriver, Cushion-Grip, Cabinet Tip, 3/16" x 4" Model 670-3' This goes well with the wire strippers. I never saw the need for this design until I was on my fifth switch plate. 'Channellock #148_14 14 End Cutter Pliers #148-14' Although not designed for this purpose, this is the best nail puller I've found. They will grab and yank the most subborn nail and not leave a mark. Use this when the Shark (above) can't cut it. 'IRWIN 04SG / 7LW 7" Locking Wrench Vise-Grip Soft Grip' Stubborn or rounded nut or bolt? These guys show no mercy. 'Bucket Boss Brand 54045 Rear Guard' I just got this guy. Very handy for when you are on a ladder and run out of pockets. I also like these for when I don't want to carry the whole tool box 'Bucket Boss Brand 01056 Bucket Boss 56 Organizer' |
