| I've been wanting to make one of these, but I wasn't quite sure where to start... so, I figured making a list of things I am obsessed with would be a good place, no? I don't think I'm really anyone special, just a 'Black Sails in the Sunset', 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete First Season', and 'The Nightmare Before Christmas (Special Edition)' obsessed kid living in the Seattle area. So... Music Favorites: AFI: 'Sing the Sorrow', 'Black Sails in the Sunset', and 'All Hallows E.P.'. BSitS is the best album ever, but then they are my favourite band. Placebo: 'Without You I'm Nothing', 'Once More With Feeling: Singles 1996-2004', and 'Sleeping With Ghosts'. <3<3<3 is really all I have to say. Incubus: 'Make Yourself', 'Morning View', and 'S.C.I.E.N.C.E.'. Used to be my favourite band a while back, now I just love them. The Cure: 'The Cure', ' The Cure - Greatest Hits', and (oi, too many to choose from) 'Pornography'. When I was little and saw them on TV I would call them the "Too Much Makeup Guys." How cute. Nine Inch Nails: 'Downward Spiral', 'The Fragile', and 'Pretty Hate Machine'. Trent Reznor might be God, if he isn't Davey Havok, Jade Puget, or Brian Molko. Twisted. Ani DiFranco: 'Living in Clip', 'Dilate', and 'Little Plastic Castle'. My favourite militant feminist ^_^ Fiona Apple: 'When The Pawn...', 'Tidal', and 'Across the Universe'. I've actually only recently become obsessed with her, she's awesome. A goddess. Book Favorites: 'Prozac Nation' by Elizabeth Wurtzel.. Being depressed, what would you expect? 'The Bell Jar : A Novel (Perennial Classics)' and 'Ariel : Perennial Classics Edition (Perennial Classics)' by Sylvia Plath. Again, depression led me to these works. 'Neverwhere' by Neil Gaiman. Bloody brilliant. 'The Chronicles of Narnia' by C.S. Lewis. Read them all when I was little and absolutely loved them. Never noticed the religious undertones, though. 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Book 1)', 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Book 2)', 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3)', 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4)', and 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5)' by J.K. Rowling. Does this really need explanation? 'I Never Promised You a Rose Garden' by Joanne Greenberg. Read this first back in junior high, when I was becoming seriously screwed up. 'Circle of Three #1: So Mote It Be (Circle of Three, 1)' by Isobel Bird. Yes, teen Wicca books. So sue me. I've only read a few in the series, but I really liked them so far. 'In the Forests of the Night (Laurel Leaf Books)', 'Hawksong : The Kiesha'ra: Volume One (Kiesha'ra)', 'Demon in My View (Laurel-Leaf Books)', 'Midnight Predator', and 'Shattered Mirror' by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I love her to pieces. I could marry her... not in this state though. Movie/TV Favorites: 'The Wizard of Oz' Of course. My favourite since I was wee. 'The Nightmare Before Christmas (Special Edition)' Already mentioned. Genius, I am totally obsessed. 'Edward Scissorhands (Widescreen Anniversary Edition)' Oh Oh. Lovely movie. Johnny Depp+Winona Ryder= hotness. Yes. 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete First Season', 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete Second Season', 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete Third Season', 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete Fourth Season', 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete Fifth Season', 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete Sixth Season', and 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete Seventh Season'. Yes, I could have just put the complete series, but I didn't notice that until I was nearly finished, and besides, I like it better this way, so :P My favourite show, <3<3<3<3 Okay, so that's it for now. I need to keep it under the limit, let's hope I can do that. I have many other favourites of course, these are just a few. *hinthint* See my wishlist :D |
