  • My friend just won a Vizio VW26L-26" HDTV TV in a prize drawing and a surround sound system came with it. Now I tried for several hours to hook it up to the tv however did not succeed in getting the tv to have surround sound but the dvd player worked with it. I browsed the internet for ways to hook it up and found little help. Does anyone know a way to hook up the system to the tv so that we can watch tv with surround sound?

  • Im asking because I recently got a tv that says HDTV on it and idk if the channels will be cancelled anyway. what if you hace comcast cable will it cancel the channels?

  • We have a ps3 and I have heard that we won't get the awesome graphics unless we have an hdtv. I've seen televisions at walmart that say hdtv on them that are only like two hundred dollars. Is this because it's not actually an hdtv? No way am I spending more then two hundred dollars on a tv for this thing. Thanks for your help.

  • I'm going to college and my college says that we get a cable feed with both regular and HDTV channels, but it says to view the hdtv channels I'll need an atsc tuner, which i figured was already built into the tv (which is brand new). Am i correct or will I need to buy anything to view the hd channels?

  • I have the blue, green, and red outlets things to plug the cables into. But i dont think my tv is an hdtv. What would i set it to. Also since i am plugging it into the blue, green, and red outlets wouldnt that make it hd like the gameplay thank you everyone.

  • I heard back then during PS3's launch that you needed to purchase additional cables if played on a newer HDTV TV set. In other words, I'm wondering if I want to get a PS3, is getting a better TV basically a "hidden cost?" I know sooner or later HDTVs are a must when USA officially changes into HDTV TV programs only, but as far as for gaming, would a old TV not be able to show the "general" graphical improvements of the PS3? Thanks!

  • I'm going to buy a widescreen flat panel LCD HDTV. I currently use an outdoor antenna to receive my over-the-air channels. Once I buy the TV, will the channels which are formatted for 16:9 TVs fill the whole screen up? Or will all the channels come in full screen (4:3 format) automatically, causing the picture to be distorted because the TV is in 16:9?

  • I am trying to hook up a direct TV HDTV dish. I am not able to hook it up the wall because the dish is too large and heavy. I am considering having a stand for it in the backyard. Any ideas on how I can make or get a stand that will hold an antenna weighting 30 ponnds and it 40 inch wide?

  • The way I understand it is HDTV is more popular in the US while digital TV is a buzzword in the UK (even though you hear the latter in the US). Digital TV, in the UK at least seems to take after the concept of a DVD where you have value added services such as interactive menus and never before seen videos. Am I correct? What is the difference between digital TV in the US and in the UK?

  • I have outlets for cable TV and one for free HDTV signal antenna. I don't have HD cable but would like to see free air HD. I used a 2 to 1 splitter but the HD signal caused some interference for the cable TV signal. HDTV looked awesome but the cable signal was awful. Any inexpensive suggestions. No, I'm got going to give the cable company monopoly extra money for and HD box and pay more to get HD channels.

Digital TV, in the UK at least seems to take after the concept of a DVD where you have value added services such as interactive menus and never before seen videos. Am I correct? What is the difference between digital TV in the US and in the UK?

  • im looking to get my first hdtv lcd tv. i would like to get a good one for a small price. please email me the link to the tv.

Am I correct? What is the difference between digital TV in the US and in the UK?

  • im looking to get my first hdtv lcd tv. i would like to get a good one for a small price. please email me the link to the tv.

  • im looking to get my first hdtv lcd tv. i would like to get a good one for a small price. please email me the link to the tv.

  • im looking to get my first hdtv lcd tv. i would like to get a good one for a small price. please email me the link to the tv.

  • im looking to get my first hdtv lcd tv. i would like to get a good one for a small price. please email me the link to the tv.

  • My friend just won a Vizio VW26L-26" HDTV TV in a prize drawing and a surround sound system came with it. Now I tried for several hours to hook it up to the tv however did not succeed in getting the tv to have surround sound but the dvd player worked with it.
