This is the American Film Institute’s list of America's 100 Greatest Movies, selected by AFI's panel of more than 1,500 leaders of the American film community.

The list was released in conjunction with a television broadcast on June 16, 1998.

The copies listed here represent what I consider to be the best Region 1 release of each movie on DVD (or VHS, if it has not yet been released on DVD).
