Your "Home Away From Home"

Going to college is more than just classrooms. It's learning about yourself, meeting people from all over the world, and being on your own…with a little help, of course. At Bay Path you'll have current resident students to show you around and residence hall directors who'll answer any question. Our three residence halls offer a choice of singles or doubles. Assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, the rooms are fully wired with telephone, cable TV and Internet access making it easy to keep in touch with family and friends all over the world.. All residence halls also have kitchen, laundry, and computer facilities and are very clean and roomy.

Climate and Location

New England has four distinct seasons: a brisk fall, noted for its colorful foliage; a cold, often snowy winter; and spring and summer seasons with temperature between 60 and 90F. Bay Path is located in the historic New England town of Longmeadow, a picturesque town with rolling lawns, elegant old homes, and charming shops. Springfield, Massachusetts, adjacent to Longmeadow, provides students with all the advantages of a major city: stores, restaurants, theaters, concert halls, museums, and many other resources. Evening and weekend bus service takes you there as well as to area malls and shopping centers, and planned activities and trips.

Clubs, Organizations, Activities and Trips

Bay Path has over 30 clubs and organizations and athletic programs for you to enjoy, from Student Government to the Outing Club, the Golden Z Community Service Club to the Theatre Workshop. You can be part of a college musical, sing in the Chorale, or join the international student group, "Women of Culture." Interested in sports? Bay Path has varsity teams in soccer, basketball, softball, cross country, volleyball, and tennis, and a Cheerleading Club to urge them to win! You can laugh with comedians on campus, dress up for the "Spring Gala," perform at Karaoke Unplugged, ski at Mt. Snow, or climb nearby Mount Greylock. There's a group or activity for everyone…and every interest.

Ask your admissions counselor about our host family program for international students!
