She also offers inspiring lyrics for her young listeners on the empowering and whisper-to-a-scream bounce of "Everything You're Not," singing, "I want a gentleman who treats me like a queen / I need respect, I need love, nothing in between." While there are songs about `lost love' on Here We Go Again, Demi says, "I think this new album is more hopeful than Don't Forget. This is like being excited about breaking up and making up."

i loved this album, i own all her albums. but this one seems to be more her style. here we go again is an amazing song.its a great cd to listen in the car when u wanna drive!

(4 stars) - A great sound, but not everyone likes the new Demi Lovato...
I felt this album was a little bit of a downgrade from her debut Don't Forget. I liked the sound a little better on her first album, although Here We Go Again, Solo, Quiet, Catch Me, and Got Dynamite have a great sound, all while greatly varying in speed and genre. Unfortunately, I was a little taken-aback by her transformation from the sweet innocent girl-next-door to the new divaish Demi - slathered in makeup and looking more or less depressed. Here's a beautiful young woman that feels now that she needs to look artificial to be beautiful and that she has to conform to the rest of the industry to be successful - which is exactly what she swore not to do on her track La La Land off of her first cd. Also, on this album, she's more angry and unsympathetic, and can't seem to find much more to talk about than ex-boyfriends and sleazy ideas about dating (with the only exception being the track Gift of a Friend).
So, overall, a well-produced cd by a talented artist, but monotonous lyrics and pouty cover photos take away from what could have been an amazing work of rock music.

Wow, Demi Lovato is nothing less than a singing prodogy. At 16 having done this good a job, singing better than her older rivals, you owe it to yourself to hear her. She has talent well beyond her years, and I haven't been able to keep this off my Ipod since I downloaded it

This CD is awesome and everyone should go and buy it whether it's from Amazon or wherever. JUST GO AND BUY IT. Demi Lovato deserves a lot more credit then she receives just because of the fact that she is a disney star. By the way, she sings better than half of the non- disney stars out there and writes all of her songs. Every song she writes is either inspirational or easy to dance to. Anywho, sorry for the rambling, BUY THE CD BECAUSE IT'S WORTH IT!!!!!!! It's a huge success all around the world.
