The Sonic Seals works great. They perform exactly as described. I checked my sonic toothbrush connection between the battery and the head after about a month and it was perfectly dry! Which was awesome because it did get nasty in there. I would recommend that you roll the Sonic Seal before trying to slide down the base of the toothbrush head. Don't get in a hurry, take you time and be patient. I have only used one of them in six months. I have removed, cleaned it (the Sonic Seal only) and reinstalled it several times. Note: I have only cleaned it for my benefit. It has shown no signs of becoming dirty or icky.

This product works really well! I was constantly cleaning my Sonic Tooth brush because water would get into it from under the screw on cap. This product took care of the problem.

it took a few mins to get on toothbrushes but they are nice and it help kids keep handle clean ...iam not sure if I would buy again just because its hard to get on toothbrush

We bought these at the same time we purchased our Sonicare 5300 set with 2 handles. My husband and I each wanted our own toothbrush, and didn't want to have to swap out heads. I have read a review on here that says you can't use these when switching heads (sharing), and that is true. Once you put on the Sonic Seal, it's meant to stay on until you change your head for a new one.

Yes, they were difficult to get on. But there's a reason for that, they are tight so they can "seal". Yes, I can see where they could rip, but ours didn't, I was very very careful after reading the review that said he ripped his. I put the blue one on my husbands toothbrush, and the pink one on mine. My hands were actually sore afterwards from getting those things on!! We have been using them for 3+ weeks, and the brushes seem clean and "sealed". And I acutally like the color it adds. As for the glow-in-the-dark feature.....I am not sure of the purpose for that. But yes, they do glow in the dark.

I am very happy with our purchase.....and I would not have bought the Sonicare 5300 without getting the Sonic Seals. Otherwise I would have gotten the Sonicare Whitening as it's head and body are designed different and don't collect the gross gunk that these can. But this model is cheaper and still does an awesome job. Also, if you need help or guidance, you can always visit the Sonic Seal website. They have a video showing how to get them on. They also have the grossest pics I have ever seen of what these toothbrushes can look like without the Sonic Seal or regular cleaning of the brush.

The Sonic Seal works really well for those who are not sharing the handle with other family or friends. It seals out water moisture and gunk, and (wow!) even glows in the dark. I use it on a Sonicare Essence 5300, which has a more difficult magnet-movement cavity, in terms of ease of cleaning. Its bell shaped and has a lot of edges to make cleaning a bit of a problem. In any case, the Sonic Seal solves this problem by not allowing anything into this area. The Sonic Seal is hard to get on and it probably takes a good five minutes to coax and persuade it to do so. Once done though, it works great.
