This is a book that tells you and you future mate what you should be talking about. It gets things unsaid out into the open. It is a good book each couple should read it together and answer all the questions. Even true love needs help, and this is the place to get it.

I got this book and my boyfriend and I decided to start reading it together. I can't express how amazing this has been for our relationship. This book guides you through all of the right questions to build a strong foundation for a marriage/relationship. The great thing is that it's all laid out for you and you just answer as you go, some parts are tough but it's so necessary. Once you get through the book you feel like you know your partner so much deeper and it's a really good feeling. This book helped reassure me in my relationship and now I am confident that I am on the path to a healthy marriage. BUY IT!!! You will be glad you did!

If I lived in Philly, I would want to be in her class at Eastern University. God has gifted her with an awesome book for engaged, newlywed as well as old married folks like myself. If I could afford it, I would purchase many more and give them to churches for discussion groups for young women in general. Especially, for those college students whose interests "should be" on becoming financially independent first. Thank you Dr. Robin!

Dr. Robin Smith gives practical advice on being open and honest with your mate to avoid problems in your marriage. She shares cases and provides exercises for the couple to work on to strengthen their relationship. I bought a copy for my son and his fiancee, and highly recommend it to others.
