I bought this as a birthday gift for a co-worker and friend who is a "died in the wool" Democrat. I suppose it's a silly gift, but she absolutely loves it.

My obama Chia Head has brought be counteless moments of satisfaction. Instead of water I use urine and his hair grows and grows. 4-5 times a day I take him outside for a whiz and he just smiles. Now if Amazon would offer a Chia SHE APE I'd have a pair just like we do in the White House.

Good growth everywhere but on the top of the head. I've been leaving a water soaked paper towel on the top of the head to encourage the seeds to sprout. We'll see if it works.

Come on people, don't you see this is just funny? I voted for Obama, and I think this Chia Pet is soooo bad it's funny! How can anybody take it so seriously? It's just tackiness taken to the next step. I am giving it a s a "white elephant" present to another liberal, democratic friend of ours for his 60th birthday.
