Shame on Johnson for developing a plastic throw away item. I use a crochet hook inbetween the rollers to get dog hair out and bingo, I can reuse item.

(4 stars) - Great product, Works just as claimed!
I was leery about the claims about the Pledge Fabric Sweeper at first. It claims to pick up as much pet hair as 145 sticky roller sheets. This actually doesn't say much because I've never been able to pick up my pet hair with sticky roller sheets. Even the ones you pick up at the pet store don't seem to pick up much.

The Fabric sweeper is a very lightweight plastic dome shape over two rollers. I had no problem popping the dome off to empty the hair out and fill up again. It's easy to use and picks up excellently, you just brush it back and forth over the surface of your furniture or fabric and it pulls up all of the hair.

This sweeper actually picks up great. After seeing how well it works, I ran around sweeping all of our furniture. The cat was actually mad, because I cleaned her favorite spot on the couch and she refused to sit there for several hours. (She gets offended easily)

I have a corduroy couch with hair from cats and the sweeper picked up just a few hairs. Will definitely not buy this again.

(3 stars) - Not worth the money
It does pick up okay, but if you had a pet that sheds a lot and fabric furniture you could run through one of these every few days easy. You do have to really use short, brisk action to get the hair up. The big drawback is that you can't empty it out. They have it really snapped in tight so you can't take the top off to dump the hair. It's cheaper to get the value pack of the rollers, then this. I won't buy it again.

(5 stars) - Never Have to Buy Tape Again!
The tape rollers were the latest fad in pet hair removal and they worked to a point. It was sad that the rollers gave up after only so many passes and they didn't even appear full of hair. The worst part being that those rollers could not get deep ground in hair.

Then comes the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair. My husband saw the commercial on TV and said we need to get one. Being pretty bored I headed to the store and picked one up for significantly less than is advertised here.

I brought it home and the first place we tried it was on the back of the sofa that my cats love to sleep on and bird gaze. The first sweep amazed me, gone, everything was gone.

We continued using the sweeper on the entire back of the couch filling it up (yes, there was that much cat hair) and it is relieving that we can now touch it without worrying about all the cat hair that will cling to our clothes.

I next used it on the bed sheets, where the tape rollers do a better job than on the sofa. The sweeper didn't let me down and took care of the entire bedspread (which is black, by the way) and you cannot see a single white or gray cat hair on it!

I am anxious to use it on clothes, drapes, possibly carpet, etc. It works wonders. It's the answer to everyone's prayers!
