Product Reviews (4 stars) - It is a fun game... To be honest I didn't like this game at first. When I first saw it I compare it with Wii Sports and there were many things I didn't like but then a friend came over and we set up a multiplayer game and then it became fun, what I didn't realize is that the game ism't exactly all about tennis, it more about getting "tricks" done during the game of tennis and I now consider this game fun.
I think many people like me will rush to give a bad evaluation to this game but I think it is because they like me were expecting a "pure tennis" game like Wii Sports when it is not. It is a fun game once you understand the differences and the challenges in it.
(4 stars) - Great Party Game! This game is a lot of fun! ... especially when hosting a small get together. Though Wii is known for it's game control being one of its main pros, I will say that I was a little disappointed with the controls for this game. In fact, I prefer this playing game on the Nintendo 64. Aside from that though, the game itself is still great and easy for anyone to pick up pretty quickly (even for those who don't play video games much, like myself).
(3 stars) - Fun, but.... We love to play Wii Play Tennis, so we figured this would be even better. The fact is, there's just too much going on on the screen. It's very hard to see where the ball is. Fun, but frustrating.
(5 stars) - get ready for a good pain play with friend fun the whole time, just be sure not to be too close to your friend or he will have a headache thanks to you.
(1 stars) - The Controls just Fail... The controls failed, what else is there to say? They don't work, and the game hasn't had any other upgrades from Gamecube, no new graphics, sounds, or modes.
Presentation- 28/100
The fact that nothing is new from the moment you start the game ruins it. You can't get hooked on the game, that's for sure.
Graphics- 48/100
Unimpressive on Wii (They looked good on Gamecube though).
Sound- 64.5/100
Gameplay- 8.5/100
Yes, it purposely says 8.5/100, it is not 85/100. On Gamecube, it was a masterpiece. Now it's been completely ruined by difficult to learn, unresponsive controls. These in fact, may be the worst controls I've ever seen.
Replay Value- 9/100
Virtually none.
Overall- 16/100
The Gamecube version scored 92/100.
