This is the large-sized play yard that I have been waiting for. My first child never liked playing in her pack and play because there was really not enough space for her to move around and play in and I couldn't fit both her and several of her favorite toys in it. With my second child, I decided to try and find a larger play yard to see if that would work because I needed somewhere safe for her to play while I was cooking supper or cleaning. Finding the Joovy Room2 was the answer! She loves playing in it and we can fit all the toys that she needs to keep her entertained while I am busy. There is enough room for her to crawl from one toy to the next without even touching the sides. She doesn't even realize that she is confined because she has so much room to play in. It has been worth every penny! I would highly recommend this to anyone.

 (5 stars) - The "Tank" of all Play Yards
This is a really great play yard that is safe, strong and stable. I did a lot of research in search of a suitable "containment" area for my busy one year old and am really pleased with this choice. This thing is built super strong and I like that it does not have a weight limit, unlike my Graco Pack n' Play's 30lb limit. My son is now almost two and the Room 2 really does provide a large and safe play area for when I am trying to get that time in to clean up around the house and cook dinner. It is spacious enough to put several toddlers in it at the same time and because it is bigger my son seems to tolerate playing in it for longer periods of time. It is also very easy to set-up and collapse down since I mostly use it on the weekends. Yes, it is heavier than the Pack n' Play, but I also know I will get several more years of use out of this play yard with a rough and tumble growing boy. So, keep the Pack n' Play for portability and trips out to grandma's house, but get the Joovy Room 2 for every day use in and around the house.

All I wanted was a simple, no bells and frills pack and play that my daughter could grow in. This one is not only safe, but it is roomy, and it is great to travel with. I'm very happy with this and highly recommend it.

This over-the-hill Grandma keeps my 14 month old granddaughter two-days a week, and I really don't know how I'd make it through the day without this 'Play Yard'! When I need a 'break' she is perfectly content in her 'club-house' (I've folded a plush comforter over the base pad) and there's more than enough room for a collection of her favorite toys! She is so content that I'll frequently find her sound-asleep -- able to 'stretch out' -- for her afternoon nap! It's very sturdy, very easy for me to move, and the mesh 'screening' allows her to enjoy 'Einstein' while she's sitting. Worth every penny (already) - and I'm sure it will survive a couple more additions!

this his perfect. My son is 9 months old but is as big as most 1 year olds. this play pen is the perfect size for him and his toys!! He takes his naps in there and is very comfortable. It collapses easy once you get the hang of it and is very portable from room to room. Its kind of heavy so I dont think I'll be transporting it anywhere outside of my home but its great so far!
