(4 stars) - Small town reporter who IS the news
After appearing on three early BBC-TV sitcoms, Norman Wisdom made a string of comedies for the Rank Organsation. PRESS FOR TIME is his last starring picture. Here, the Prime Minister gets his grandson (Norman) a job as reporter at a small seaside town's newspaper. Norman creates havoc during a council meeting, accidentally causes a new home to be demolished and organzes a beauty pageant.


Fans of Sir Norman will also enjoy TELEVISTA's edition of his 1963 comedy, A STITCH IN TIME.
