Product Reviews (1 stars) - don't buy these; cheaper and better alternative I move to a 1000 sq ft apatment with almost all white tiles and it was so difficult to clean. I needed something and thought the Swifter would help. Their wet pads just pushed dirt all over, left dirt lines and didn't even clean around the grout lines even though I went through the area first with the dry pads for dirt. I would go through ~10 wet pads to "clean" my floors plus I would then have to go over the entire floor with my mircofiber towels. That did the job so I thought if I can replace their pads with a microfiber pads, it might work so I went on Amazon and found a microfiber cleaning pad, Tersano cleaning cloths and they fit the Swifter head snuggly, not the XL. It works!!! I don't have to continuously buy the chemical or dry pads to fill our landfills. The Tersano cloth pads are washable and because it thicker and absorbent, it cleans much better and doesn't deposit dirt in the floor grouts. The investment in the Tersano pads was ~$6.00 and the original Swifter starter kit was ~$11; not bad considering a typical sponge mop is ~$18 and are horrible on tile. Buy the Swifter but don't waste money or time with their wet or dry pads.
(5 stars) - Reusable! I love Swiffer clothes. Keep reading for a great helpful hint! I use them mainly for dusting various things like the dresser top, ceramics, window blinds, books, DVD cases, computer and for the floor of course. I first start with a lighter job then pick another which may be a little dirtier etc... This way, Swiffers can last for awhile longer unless you go straight for the floor. But here's something they don't tell you, you can wash them so they can be used again! They don't come out perfect but they definitely are usable again. I throw them in with my regular laundry which is never really dirty and run it on the light cycle. I also let them air dry. I don't have any white clothing so be careful what you wash the Swiffers with. You may want to delicate a load to Swiffer clothes exclusively so you do not run the risk of ruining your clothing. My washing machine is also 20 years old. This is only a helpful hint, use at your own risk! Anyway, if you feel adventurous, you can possibly cut your Swiffer cost in half. It's good for your wallet and the environment!
(5 stars) - Easy Cleaning A great product at an excellent price. Wonderful for wood, vinyl or tile floors. We found them to be of better quality than the Swiffer store bought version.
(4 stars) - Pay no attention to the review by Dennerman This item is for THREE BOXES of a 32-count box priced at $22.00, and not $80 for three boxes as incorrectly touted by Dennerman. That's three, not one. That comes out to roughly $7.50 a box.
(4 stars) - Swiffer sweeping cloths I use this product daily. I find it does a great job getting up dust and dirt tracked in from outside and I don't have to wet mop as often. I've been using Swiffer sweeping cloths for several years.
