I had an 8gig card, bought this 16gig for a wedding I was shooting. I'm using a Nikon D90 I shot over 1000 photo's and the card could hold up to 2400. Excellant fast card.

I've been using two of these cards for several months now, and have had great results with my Nikon D90. Excellent speed, both in the camera and when transferring to my PC via SanDisk's high-speed USB reader.

I made a mistake and bought a 2GB card when I got my Nikon D80. It was too small and I found myself deleting photos on site instead of at home in front of the PC just to make room on the card. The 16GB card holds ~1200 Raw images so I don't envision this being an issue again. Bigger is better, mission accomplished.


This being a 30mb/sec write speed card I hoped I could use it to squeeze my D80 for as many FPS as it could get. I didn't notice an appreciable difference. The D80 just isn't that fast and a new card won't change that. My advise would be this: If your camera isn't shooting as fast as the specs from the manufacturer say it should, write to their tech support and ask if the 30mb/sec will help you out.
