i prefer ob for its convenience, ease and most of all, superior leak-proof quality. but be advised, this isn't really a multi-pack which typically has 3 sizes: the ''super'' size is missing from this package.

I started using o.b when I was in summer camp. After that day I fell in love with them. I hate the applicator tampons! The packaging is fine also. I will be buying again.

I'm a 30-something-year-old woman, so I think I qualify as an experienced tampon user. I have been using o.b. since I first discovered them 8 years ago. I've switched to other brands occasionally when I found a good sale, but always ended up disappointed and went back to o.b.
Pros:
- Ease of use. In my experience, even without an applicator, o.b.'s are easier to use than any other brand
- Comfort. I've never encountered the "sideways-stick" issue other brands sometimes present.
- Discreet. Put 2 or 3 in your pants pocket and no one will notice.
- Reliable. I've never had a surprise leak.
Cons:
- Price. Well, this can be a con for some. For me, I don't care any longer -- they're worth every penny because of all the pros I've listed above.
Bottom line -- I'm a fan and will never go back to "those other brands" if I can help it.
(5 stars) - o.b. is the best tampon in the business
I've been a faithful o.b. user for about ten years. I started out using their tampons with applicators (best applicators in the business, too!), but when those became hard to find, I switched over to the non-applicator. o.b. tampons don't leave cotton behind, and I've never had a failure with them. They're comfortable and easy to insert, particularly since o.b. started using their "SilkEase" mesh. The mesh is microthin on the outside of the tampon, and it makes the surface smoother and more stable and thus easier to insert. SilkEase used to be a separate type of o.b. tampon, but it proved to be so popular that they're using it on all their tampons now, to my understanding.
Best of all, without an applicator, o.b. tampons are discreet! I can carry a tampon in my hand without anyone seeing it. I'm able to dispose of tampons easily, without having to wrap up and dispose of an applicator. I also like that by using them, I'm generating less waste generally.
