Product Details In Eureka Seven volume 3, you get four great episodes of the show. For some time now, Eureka's health has been getting worse. Now the Gekko encounters a corallian, a mysterious phenomenon that everyone, especially Holland, feels excited about. As Renton tries to find out what a corallian is, the time to enter it has come for Renton and Eureka.
As the two prepare to enter the corallian in the Nirvash type Zero, they are ambushed by the red haired girl named Anemone in the Nirvash type The End. The first episode ends with a battle full of spectacular(and disturbing) images and a feeling of anxiety. The second episode has Renton, Eureka, and Anemone inside the corallian where very bizarre things happen. Can Renton find Eureka in this strange place, or will Anemone devour him?
Episode three is the most funny one by far as a man named Dominic, secretly in love with Anemone, meets Renton after he, Eureka, and Anemone leave the corallian. Both Eureka and Anemone are unconscious and need medicine. Renton forces Dominic to take him along to get the medicine. The two learn a bit about each other in this interesting and fairly funny journey together.
The final episode is basically a recap of every episode from the beginning of the show so far and isn't anything new, though a new opening and ending theme are present. Overall, the first three episodes on this disc are great, the fourth is alright. Still, any fan of anime would enjoy this disc, but if you are new to Eureka Seven, I recommend volume 1 and 2 first or you'll be lost.
Product Reviews (5 stars) - Eureka Season 3 So far, Eureka is its usual excellent self. Great new and weird problems are creatively solved by the sheriff and his friends. Love it!
(5 stars) - Can't say enough good things Anyone claiming that Eureka is dramatically excellent or has phenomenal writing needs to get out more. The acting and the writing are adequate. But despite these deficiencies, Eureka is the greatest show on television. The plot lines are fun, the characters are engaging, the chemistry among the cast members is remarkable and the show resonates with basic humanity.
Caution: Some episodes have overt sexual tones which some may find uncomfortable to watch with their kids but I found them to be within acceptable limits.
(5 stars) - Eureka keeps getting better and better.... You know how it is when you find a book, movie or TV show almost by accident and it like turns out to be one of your favorite forever more.
Well Eureka is one such gem. Since I don't watch TV per say(don't have cable or even the basic channels) the only way I find shows is online. And I almost missed one the best shows on Sci-Fi channel or on TV in general.
Eureka, plain and simple a fun show with great acting and great writing. It is the fish out of water story but done in a refreshing way.
Basic premise is While Federal Marshall Jack Carter is taking his runaway daughter back home, they get run off the road and end up in small town Eureka. While there Jack finds out that Eureka is home to the worlds brightest minds and who work at a secret scientific facility Global Dynamics. The Sheriff gets hurt when a experiment goes wrong and the town needs Jack to save them. So with the Sheriff unable to continue his duties Carter gets promoted to Sheriff.
So each week Jack has to solve the problems that these ultra secret experiments can cause with only his common sense.
But he isn't alone, there is Henry Deacon mechanic and all around fixer and Jacks' best friend. There is Allison Blake who is the go between for the government and GD and possible love interest for Jack. Nathan Stark head of GD and ex-husband of Allison(so we get a love triangle there). Douglas Fargo, assistant to Stark and kind of a clumsy guy who gets into all sorts of trouble. And Deputy Jo Lupo gungho ex military who at first doesn't trust Jack but later becomes to respect what he does.
Is Eureka a TV show that will change the way you look at the world? No. It is a fun sci-fi show that never fails to entertain. The interaction with the character is what drives this show each week(and what should drive every show but sadly it doesn't). Though it is fun to see each week what scientific gizmo or theory that gets the town in trouble but it is the character that drive the show.
Season 3 is well off to a great run. So great that Universal has asked for 21 episodes this season instead of the usual 13.
So if you want just a good, fun show to watch. Eureka is the one.
