(2 stars) - Chirps while setting
I wasted my money on this little Presto timer: I bought it because one of our old timers quit working and another one always chirped while being set, which drove me nuts. Guess what, the Presto 04213 also chirps while being set, although it is never very loud. Fortunately, I also bought a 04212 clock-timer and another low-cost timer to protect against such an eventuality. They are very nice. Meanwhile, the old timer we had in the kitchen started working again after I took it apart and put it together a couple of times. So now we have three nice, working timers and two chirpers to keep us company on long winter evenings. LOVE THAT FREE SHIPPING!

(2 stars) - Forget this timer
I could not get this timer to work. I threw the receipt away prior to attempting to use the timer. I thought it would be easy to use, but I could never get the timer to start.

(5 stars) - Just as advertised
It was a relief to get something that worked exactly as advertised. Unit is small with good sound. Easy to operate and after being dropped many times is sturdy. I would recommend this.

(4 stars) - Does what it says
This is a good little timer. But there's no on/off switch, so it stays on all the time. BUt I don't think it's a significant drain on the battery. Just beware and don't waste your time looking for the on/off.

timer works great. display is easy to read. reset works great. i would recommend for poker players everywhere.
