Product DetailsThe catchy radio-sensation is a quite interesting listen, and it really speaks the the artistic integrity and under-lying political side of Mr. Mayer. Why the strange chorus? Well if Mayer sung "We're going to change, we're going to change the world," he figured that the listener would be like, "Yeah, I'm going to change this station." But as is, it's a call for change, and speaks more directly with more impact. The listener then identifies with the song, and is like, "Yeah, that's how I feel!" And this is by no means an anti-war track as some have made it to be. If he is anti-war, it's not explicitly stated in the least bit, in this song. This is a change track, to which I wonder where I could fit an Obama reference in here or there, or somewhere/anywhere. Cap all this off with some ultra catchy vibes floating around, and more great guitar work, and you got a true winner. I'm just amazed the radio crowd embraced it so much. I guess all hope is not lost.
