(3 stars) - Bit of a hassle with windows 7
Received my windows 7 upgrade the same day. Installed it first. Had a hard time getting it to work but once I did I was happy. Not sure about the 100m distance but I can go a lot further than I could before with the adapter I was using with my stereo bluetooth headset. Good bang for buck.

(5 stars) - it WORKS!!
Finally one that works!! Tried 2 other blue tooth things,neither worked. All i did was plug it in and click liked 3 steps and tada i can bluetooth songs and pics to my phone. It is about a nickel size not quarter! looove this! cheap too!

(3 stars) - Sneaky, sneaky. Software sent is useless, requires a separate purchase to function.
Kudos to whoever handles shipping, the item came 3 days earlier than the estimated arrival date. However, the completely useless install CD was unnecessary. Why not admit that for the price, there was no software included and that a separate purchase would be needed to run it?

After much annoyance, the dongle is installed and functional, my headset connects and despite the some range issues, even picks up a neighbors cellphone when it scans.

Guys, guys, guys... This is just a small USB Bluetooth adaptor and that's it! The price is more than right (heck! it's even less than a soda and cheaper than 30 seconds of GAS when you are stuck in traffic in your SUV).

These little "bugs" are made in thousands if not millions, so if you receive a bad one... is expected!!! Just swallow the bad moment and get a replace.

Windows XP, Windos Vista and Windows 7 will detect this 'thingy' instantly, now read slowly with me this: YOU DO NOT NEED DRIVERS OR ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE to have this thing working.

If you don't know how Bluetooth devices work under Windows, just ask a Nerdy friend, and see how easy is to pair devices with it.

(2 stars) - Bluetooth Peripheral Driver Software Required!
The Bluetooth Mini Dongle didn't come with CD Drivers but it installed on Windows as a system device just fine. For it to recognize Bluetooth devices to connect to, it requires a Bluetooth Peripheral Driver Software. Others are selling the mini dongle with the CD included why couldn't these guys be straight forward and say so. Caveat Emptor!
