Product Reviews (4 stars) - Pretty fun. Nice to have a non-track NFS on the PS3. But it's still only kinda open world-ed. There really is no point to explore since you can jump straight to each race or shop by pressing the down button or accessing the GPS. It's weird that the GPS doesn't guide you around town like in previous titles. Cut scenes are over the top cheesy. Upgrading cars is simpler. No more brand names like HKS and Turbonetics to upgrade the same part. Sometimes it seems like the racing is too fast for the PS3 to draw in the road ahead. Confusion and crashes follow. Everything can get pretty repetitive but there are so many racing modes that it breaks it up a little.
(1 stars) - Don't waste your money This game is one of the worrst in NFS series, Ive never felf so disapointed with an NFS game, 1st is extremely short, then the driving is so unrealistic, the story is boring, the only good point i can mention in the engine's sound of every car is almost like the real ones. But apart from that this game is a waste of time, I felt like I was plating on my old PS2 and not in a PS3. Luckily i found somebody that wanted to try it so I traded it for GRID, wich despite is almost a year older it's a much better game.
(4 stars) - Its not like the orginal NFS, but its ok. The original NFS was packed with lots of features that lets you customize your own car and looking for customization shops.
In this game, your options are limited down a notch. and the cars options are not that intriguing because you will be given new cars as you win races and so you need the cash to upgrade them rather than buying a car and upgrade it.
also, once you buy your self a bugatti no one can stand a chance in front of you unless he has another bugatti.
It's not that much of fun as you basically dont have to travel a place to start a race, but its nice game all in all. I dont recommend it as a gift.
(2 stars) - Eh... Mediocure at best.. I didn't really like this game. It was ok, fairly easy at some points. New patches make it a lot more stable than it was was when it first released BY FAR. My favorite still stands at Most Wanted.
While the cops are fun to get away from (I beat the game without being pulled over or caught ONCE.. Even thou i did the same in Most Wanted......) I didn't find the fun factor in this game keeping me entertained as i did with Most Wanted. I couldn't put that game down until it was finished. Undercover on the other hand.. i had to force myself to play.
Cops and other races weren't hard either. Only a few Outruns that i had actual problems with but on the other hand it was very easy. Customizations are also a let down. AutoSculpt was a lot better in carbon.
After you beat the game the races you never finished arn't even worth it to play. The races are hardly worth anything. There are also some slight Frame-Rate issues that still persist throughout the game also but not as much now as it was when it first released.
For those who say i must not own the game... [...]
(3 stars) - It's okay.... This game is okay but im a person of graphics and this gamess graphics really suck,
the car doesnt look really realistic and everything looks fake, there last games were awesome but this one sucks
