(4 stars) - Great alternative to cruet set
My Father purchased a glass cruet set for his Olive Oil/Balsamic Vinegar salad dressing. Unfortunately, the set he purchased leaked like a sieve. He made a comment at a family dinner that he was going to purchase a different cruet set, that hopefully would not leak, next time he went to the store.

After dinner, I sat down at my trusty computer and hit the Amazon Home & Garden site. This item was difficult to locate due to the odd name. Had to do some various word searches before this one popped up. All the others were glass sets, but they all looked similar in construction to my Fathers previous set. After stumbling across this, I figured why not. I had seen some of the other Chef'n products in the store and they all seemed of solid construction and innovative in design use.

I am glad I made this purchase. We separated the item and ran it through the dishwasher (packaging states that it is dishwasher safe) and filled both sides with the appropriate liquid. Each side is meant for a specific liquid. The tubes that dispense the liquid are designed for the viscosity of either oil or vinegar. The packaging says which side gets what.

The bottom portion where the liquids are held is actually a soft, thick, and transparent plastic. You squeeze one side or the other until the desired amount of liquid is squirted into the upper portion. Gently shake the product to mix the liquids and pour. There is a small amount that stays inside the mixing area, but is negligible enough not to complain about.

So far this product has worked wonderful. There are no leaks or drips. I am concerned that there is no stopper so you must be careful when shaking that you do not get to into shaking it. Also, we have not yet tried to clean the product after use. I am not sure how well the liquid container will be able to be cleaned.

Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. I would give it a 4 1/2 star do to the concerns listed above.
