I purchased the shoe horn to replace one I broke after several years of usage. This one works well when seated, but from a standing position it is quite inconvenient. Because of a bad back, I don't sit to put my shoes on, so it is only slightly better than having to get down on my knees.

However, it is more flexible than the one I broke, so from that point of view it is better.

(3 stars) - Does the job, but flexes too much
This is a good product for light casual or dress shoes, but I wouldn't use it on boots - it is not sturdy and flexes too much for heavier shoes.

(3 stars) - Flexible and a little thick for tight shoes, surprised me
The price was right, but the item is flexible and thick, if I had to do if over again; I would've purchased the more expensive sturdier and thinner metal shoe horn. On a personal note, the blue color match nicely to the paint on the wall of our room, this sold me on it in the first place.

(5 stars) - Does the Job!
My husband had a total knee replacement 12 days ago and has already given this shoe-horn kudos for a job well done. This shoe horn is made of plastic but is well made and flexible and does it's job perfectly. I can see us keeping this one around for his 2nd knee replacement or for when neither of us can bend over to put our shoes on in our old-age!
