I am very satisfied with this product. It works so well with my laptop and equipment.

(5 stars) - I was skeptical. But it really did work well! NO HUM!
I have never run into a ground loop hum that I couldn't fix. I was loosing sleep thinking about it. Trying every method and even consulting an electrical engineer who I think was stumped himself. It is a new home, new Denon receiver, gold connectors, high quality wire all grounds tested and re-tested with meters etc. Ran ground directly to pc and all components hooked up stairs. Checked sub for ground problems on and on.

I had an unusual situation where I had a Computer upstairs in the theater room connected to A Denon AVR and a Denon AVR receiver downstairs split at pc from theater-room. I had run pair of12 awg unshielded (but twisted pairs) which I know is over kill for low signal output to be able to listen to mp3/media throughout the whole house and plus zone 2 for down. Should have run coaxial G6 but wire had already been pulled (not doing it over-150'plus, ceiling wall's floor forget it). Tried cat5e just laying loose on floor still same result. Hooked to pc or not, still it would hum on mid to high volumes. I did conclude light dimmers through out the home may be an issue too.

Regardless this ground loop isolator worked like a charm.

no hum-I am happy. this is one product that does what it promises and it's a snap to install. It's a quality product and the audio is undiminished after passing through. Highly recommended.

(3 stars) - Works OK?!
In a large basement room, I have an old HP Laptop PC with video connected to a Mitshubshi home theatre projector via XVGA and audio connected to a Yamaha receiver's stereo inputs via the computers headphone output. Stereo is connected using a 65' run of heavy duty CL2 rated in-wall stereo cable run in interstice space (above clg and behind drywall with other audio: cable,HDMI,component wire and speaker wire). This does remove most but not all of the noise and buzzing from the ground loop, but it also seems to reduce the sound quality from before (seems to damp down the highs, leaving a somewhat muted sound). I don't know, I'm probably just not going to get great sound quality over a 65' in-wall stereo cable run with ground loop noise complications.

Works as advertised. Cleared up the low-level hum between my computer and vintage receiver.
