Will not charge my Blackberry 8330 even with nothing else plugged into it, even though the device packaging says it will charge Blackberry devices.
Works okay for just a small travel surge protector.

I bought this for a trip and was very happy with the portability and functionality of it while traveling. Being able to rotate the strip to fit in to tight spaces was very helpful in hotel rooms. Also, with the two USB ports on the top I was able to rotate the unit to the side in most cases and charge my iPhone on the flat surface it created.

This surge protector was recommended when I was purchasing a mini charging valet for my daughter.It does not fit inside.So if that's what you need,don't get it.Otherwise it works just fine.I do like the USB spot for her mp3 player.I don't have to have the computer on,so that's a nice plus.

(5 stars) - Excellent travel surge protector
I agree that "mini" is not the best word to describe this surge protector but it is not so bulky that it can not be easily stowed for travel. I've taken it on several trips out of the country and it has worked well. The best bonus though is the very useful powered USB outlets. This allows me to charge iPods and my iPhone. Older chargers--even Apples older chargers--will not work for newer generation products.

The second time I used this, there was a strong odor coming from the product. It smelled like it was burning and still smells burned. I believe it was about the catch fire!
