I was unsure about purchasing a keyboard cover. I had read some reviews that said they were thick or made it difficult to type. This brand works well. You can still feel the keys underneath it. There are small bumpers on the underside to keep the cover correctly positioned over the keys.

light up keyboard show through fine. it quiets the keys some too.

I can leave it on when I close my Macbook Pro.
