The XMBB1 is compatible with the RoadyXT and SKYFi 3, as well as with the Xpress Family of Radios. The system also can be used with the inno or Helix, with the help of an XM2go Boombox adapter (sold separately).

This is a nice set up mainly because it will run on batteries, but the reception of the signal is subpar. My office window faces due south & most every day I have to move the antennae around to get a signal.
 (4 stars) - XMBB1 IS A GREAT PRODUCT.
I bought this boombox last week and it has worked great for me. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, connected my Mirge radio and had great sound. I haven't tried it with batteries yet, but works great sitting on the back patio. It has very good sound, especially for $99. I looked at several different ones, but the XMBB1 looked the best, sounded the best and came with extra plates for other radios. The Best Buy had several boomboxes at the store, so I brought my Mirge in and plugged it into each to see how it sounded.

This little unit has good sound quality. Like the fact that you can take it outdoors, very portable. Wish it had a fixed antenna in addition to the wired antenna. Also would have liked a remote. Very pleased overall.

I just bought this for my husband..and he absolutely loves it. It has great sound and looks great. When pricing it in the stores they had a smaller one which didn't look as nice and was high priced - much cheaper buying it through Amazon.

I bought this system to use at work with my portable SkyFi3 and it's great. For the money, it has awesome sound and reception in a compact size. I also like the fact that it's also battery (DC) powered (in addition to AC), which comes in handy for a day at the lake. If you're looking to expand your XM radio, buy this product. You'll be very satisfied.
