 (2 stars) - Does not work on all fabrics!
I had high hopes for this product, but sadly, the bottom line is that it failed to deliver. We have a sectional with a textured fabric in which cat hair really gets caught in the fabric, almost within the weave. In the past I have used a combination of the vacuum cleaner's fabric brush and a lint roller (the ones with the sticky sheets); although this combination works decent, not great, it's a fairly labor intensive process. Along comes the Fur Fighter, and I think, "great!" Alas, precisely because the couch fabric is textured, the micro-grippers on the sheets get caught on the fabric itself, and actually seemed to harm the fabric slightly. Furthermore, it did very little to pick up any appreciable amount of cat hair. So, overall the very reason we needed a product like this (textured fabric that traps cat hair) actually gets in the way of the product actually working! To be fair, I did try it on an armchair that has a much smoother fabric and it seemed to work OK, again not great, but the sticky lint rollers work great on that chair anyway. Bottom line is I will be taking advantage of the sticker on the package that says "The BEST guaranteed or your money back". To be returned ASAP.

I've tried many things over the years for animal hair, and this works ok, and you can wash it and re-use it many times. But, frankly, a damp paper towel still works the best. Just wet a paper towel, squeeze it so it's not dripping, bunch it up a little, and using a scraping motion, just wipe it a few times over the chair, couch, etc., and it bunches up the hair so you can just pick it up and throw it away (some is on the paper towel, of course). It really works better, and it's a heck of a lot cheaper.
 (4 stars) - Definitely beats lint rollers...
Though this product wasn't as good as i was hoping, it's still WAY better than lint rollers... i would have to tear like 8 times off my lint roller to clear just my couch from pet hair, and this allows me to do the same area with one sheet.
(3 stars) - Could be Better...
I found that this item fills up pretty fast. Then you go get another pad to replace the used one. Sure, you can wash them, but... Both times that I've used this, I've followed up with the sticky rollers to do the final and get all the remaining hair. FurFighter tends to just move things around once it fills up, which it does quickly. It has its place, but I'd tend to stay with the sticky rollers, since you just tear off the used part and keep on going.

I got tired of using lint rollers to pick up my cat's hair from the couch and other furniture, so I bought this. I just used it and I am extremely disappointed. It picked up very little hair, and mostly just spread the hair around the furniture instead of lifting it like a lint roller. TOTAL waste of money!!!
