i purchased the tupperware 13 cup cereal container to replace my old one, the "FIFO" or first in, first out cereal container, which i liked very much, but apparently has been discontinued by tupperware. this new container is easy to fill and easy to hold, but the opening on the lid is too small for the larger pieces of cereal, such as shredded wheat, and i have to shake the container back and forth several times to pour the cereal into the bowl. this is the reason that i only gave it three stars.
 (2 stars) - Strong chemical odor/taste
I bought 4 of these containers to store our cereal. They work well, are airtight, and easy for the little ones to open and pour. They hold one box of cereal perfectly. My major complaint is that they arrived with a very strong chemical odor. I washed them several times in very hot, soapy water, plus ran them through the dishwasher. They still have the chemical smell, and it ruins the taste of our cereal. This pretty much makes the containers useless, which is a shame.

I love Tupperware... This product was purchased only to replace some pieces that I had misplaced; probably left them at parties. Of course, Tupperware is always a great product, even though it's a bit more expensive than store-bought storage containers.
 (1 stars) - Not for arthritis sufferers
I purchased three of these to store cereal. I found the blue lids to be extremely difficult to both snap on and remove off. The manufacturer had instructions on what to do to correct this, which I did, but to no avail, as my osteoarthritic hands make it too difficult. I also found that they don't pour real well with cereal having large pieces, which tend to jam up on the inside of the pour spout. I returned these storers and found easier opening storers of a different brand.

I purchased this to store my oatmeal. I buy the economy size to save money but the cardboard container it comes in does not keep it fresh. This product keeps it fresh and the flip top makes it easy to pour.
