Product Details The Multi Flex Light is an all-purpose book light, task light or travel light
Product Reviews (5 stars) - Great little light, even for paper back books I bought this light for my 8 year old son who refuses to read with enough light. My one concern was that it might not work well with paperback books, which is what he reads most often. Once we got it, he found it not to be a problem at all. It is light enough that it works just fine. Sometimes he clips it to his headboard as well. The light stays put once you bend it. Overall, we've been very pleased.
(4 stars) - Tried then all, this is the best I have gone through about 6 night lights and this is the best I think. The things I like:
1) The batteries are easily replaced - unlike others that require special batteries from an electronics store.
2) The whole neck/light part is adjustable - this is wonderful!! A lot of others don't have this.
3) The light has a warmer casting hue - easier on my eyes. Other LEDs I have tried have too blue a hue that ends up being harsh.
4) I sit it up on my desk sometimes when I am working late and need a task light (our bed is near my desk & the overhead light would disturb my hubby otherwise)
5) The beam is just wide enough to illuminate both pages at a time, unlike others where I had to adjust when moving to the second page of an open book (annoying!)
The down sides:
1) It's a bit heavy for a paperpack, but I am using it all the same. This isn't a big deal, but it worth mentioning.
2) It's a bit bulky so it doesn't pack as well as others I have had - but again this is getting pretty picky.
3) The light is on the bright side. Why is this a downside? My main reason for a night light is because my husband goes to bed much earlier than I do. I wish there was another setting that was slightly dimmer, but that is just in an ideal world. :) I just turn the light to shine away from him and it's still bright enough to light up the page.
Overall I really like it. The upsides definitely outweigh the downsides and I will definitely be buying another one to have on hand & use as stocking stuffers for our family.
(4 stars) - LED Reading Light
This is a pretty good LED reading light. It is well made. The flexible neck holds its position; the on-off switch is not flimsy. It is not as bright as the Mighty Bright, but it may have a better quality reading light, which is diffuse rather than focused and therefore evenly illuminates the entire page. It could be a tad brighter--always wanting brighter at the same energy usage.
(5 stars) - Deos the job Been using this for the last 3 weeks and it does the job. The light is bright enough to read at night without disturbing my wife. Also, it is a white light lamp which I like.
(5 stars) - Fulcrum Book Light I purchased two of these lights, one for my husband and one for myself. When I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep I either listen to my IPOD or read with this little light. It is better than tossing and turning for a couple of hours. Voila. Here is what happens, I read for a little while and get sleepy, put the book down, turn off the light and go back to sleep. It fits nicely on the book...lights the page well....does what is made to do. The bonus is getting my mind off whatever was churning there thus, allowing me to relax back into slumber.
