The first one I received did not work right out of the box, but no worries this company sent me another one no questions asked. The second one works PERFECT! I can now tell when my crop is ready for harvest with no second guessing whatsoever. Thanks guys, this is a great price considering the 420scope is identicle and costs $49. Will order from this company again!

(3 stars) - Decent, with upgrades
Overall, a decent little pocket microscope. I purchased mine with the intention of attaching it to a webcam to better see what I was looking at on the computer screen. The one I received was defective - the LED was non functional. I opened the case and checked everything to determine a bad LED was in place, the rest of the wiring was correct. Since it was cheaper to repair the single bad LED from the parts I already had than to ship the broken one back for a replacement, I did the repair and increased the LED output and size at the same time. I also replaced the watch batteries with AAA batteries and a battery holder for cheaper replacements. I may add these into the wired power of the USB webcam later, but for now everything works better than before.
