Product Reviews (5 stars) - A sensor with a sense of humor! I needed this weather station like I needed another hole in my head...but I wanted it, so I got it!
Truthfully, the cute little "Weather Girl" caught my eye and I thought it would be fun to see what she recommended for me to wear in my Sunny Cali weather. (As if anyone could get me to wear what they recommend in the first place!) Besides, she's younger than me, so I doubted if her creator had considered age difference when suggesting attire!
And I was right! When it got 102 degrees outside yesterday, she stripped to a bikini. That's when I put my foot down! Me in a bikini! Lord help my neighbors!
Besides the fun and games as my male friends crowd around "Wendy Weather Girl" on hot days--don't they have pinup posters at home?--I like this product because it's wireless, easy to install and it works well. The display is crisp and clear with accurate readings of outdoor and indoor temperatures, indoor relative humidity, and it also features the time and date.
Not only is this a handy gadget, it's a great "conversation starter."
Warning:If you're concerned about your children seeing a woman in a bikini, this product is not for you. I respect your decision.
End note: This is the only product I've ever reviewed--besides the Hillary Clinton Nutcracker--that has such hilarious reviews. For a few LOLs, do read the other reviews.

(5 stars) - Waiting for the Warm... It's April, and all of 36 °F outside this morning, according to my La Crosse Technology Wireless Temperature Station, known by some as the "Weather Girl" thermometer, though the forecast is for temperatures going to 57° by mid-afternoon. This unique digital thermometer comes with a AA-battery powered remote sensor and "dress-for-weather" icons that change with the outdoor temperature.
Had some mild reservations about this product due to reviews and comments that I had read, but when it showed up on a deal here, I grabbed it, mostly due to excellent service had with the previously purchased La Crosse Technology WS-9121U-IT-CBP Wireless Thermometer/Clock with Remote Outdoor Temperature Sensor, which I had reviewed here last year. The higher that the temperature goes, the more that she takes off, and you can see all of the icons themselves if you look at the customer image that I posted here. As a parent of a young teen, my reservations had to do with the icons and how revealing they might be, but they don't show anything more than a rather demure woman in a bikini when the temperature goes above 79 °F (26 °C), Kids see far more in print media and television ads today, so it's really a moot point.
It's easy to set up, if you take about five minutes to read the included directions. It has an atomic clock (one that uses an atomic resonance frequency standard as its timekeeping element), so that you don't have to worry about setting it after its original set-up. The remote sensor is weather resistant and quite accurate, if you remember to place it in a shaded outdoor area. Best of all, it integrates with my previously-mentioned La Crosse WS-9121U-IT-CBP Wireless Thermometer/Clock.
Last Friday, the remote sensor told me that the temperature was 79 degrees, but that was due to my leaving the wireless sensor out in the direct sun on purpose, as I had yet to see what the Weather Girl would do when it got warm... and now I know.
So I'm waiting for the warm weather to really begin...
Highly recommended, for those with a sense of humor.
(3 stars) - Caution! This does what it promises as far as the functionality goes. Although, as the temperature increases, the lady starts to shed her clothing. She is never nude, but still a little corny. At least if you know that before the purchase, you won't be shocked when you get it set up.
I bought this for my wife and she thought it was a gag. I ate some crow trying to explain that it was a good deal, and I had no idea there was a visual temperature indicator of some hoochie-momma.
(5 stars) - Very functional temperature gauge A moderately priced indoor/outdoor temperature gauge that works well. Simple to install the outdoor sensor but had to supply your own screws. Very easy to read numbers on the display. Happy with the product so far.
(5 stars) - Love This This is about as handy and a pocket on a shirt. You'll have to pry it from my dead cold hands.
Seriously, this instrument is accurate, couldn't be easier to set up, easy to read from a bit of a distance, I am very pleased.
I could do without the girl getting fewer and fewer clothes on as the temperature goes up, not sure how I will feel about it when it is 110 outside as she already is bare bellied at 50 degrees.
