About Reebok
Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle.

(5 stars) - Economical Way to Measure Your Heart Rate
This very reasonably priced device is the answer to a problem I had with the heart rate measurements on the treadmill at my exercise club. Some of them were OK and some were obviously off, and they took 10 to 20 seconds to give me a reading. The Reebok watch registers within about 5 to 10 seconds and is accurate. It's easy to strap on and operate -- you just press and hold the two buttons above and below the display. The little heart symbol flashes while it's reading, and then you get your heart rate in big numerals. I love it!

Watch worked as advertized for 3 weeks then died. Replaced battery but that did not help. Rip off.

I received the Heart Rate Monitor Watch and wore it to the gym twice. The third time I went to use it within a week the watch stopped working and the screen is now blank. It worked great to begin with but I now have to find a repair place to try and fix it.
