(1 stars) - Possibly the worst mouse?
I hardly ever use it, the feature of one button mouse and pressing the whole to mouse to click is not only bizarre, but stupid and unergonomic. only thing that I really like about the mouse is scrolling ball which is really neat other than that it's POS. oh and bluetooth connection to my MBP is wish wash. most of the time it sit in my drawer. anybody want to buy?

(3 stars) - Great Mouse with One Nagging Problem
After using this product for many months, I have thoroughly enjoyed the mighty mouse, with the exception of the poorly-designed scroll ball. The tracking ability of the mouse is precise and has been easy to use in drawing programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator. The lack of physical click buttons has also been relatively easy to adapt to after repeated use. As many have mentioned though, the scroll ball on this little mouse is the cause of much frustration. After only hours of use, I found the scroll ball to stop working completely or, at best, working intermittently. Apple fixed this problem with the introduction of its Apple Magic Mouse which gets rids of the scroll ball once and for all and has been a joy to use in the past few days since I recieved it.

I work in Iraq and have had the mighty mouse for over a month with no issues at all. I have already been through a couple of dust storms and it is still going strong! To those of you who are still debating about purchasing the Mighty Mouse, consider the new Magic Mouse from Apple-No ball. Either way, you can't loose.
I'm very pleased with my purchase and recommend this mouse to everyone.

(1 stars) - Piece of Junk!
I have had my iMac and Mighty Mouse for 2 years and have returrned/replaced my Apple Mighty Mouse 7 times. Luckily, I have the extended warranty on the Mac so the mouse is covered.

The mouse quits working for a variety of reasons. The scrolling issue is fixable sometimes, not others with alchohol.

The mouse jus dies or burns through batteries at the rate of two every two weeks.

Considering it's next to impossible to use an iMac when the mouse fails, it's a bad point of failure.

Compared to the rest of the computer, it's amazing they haven't redesigned this piece of junk by now.

Get either the corded mouse or another brand....

(4 stars) - You can fix the scroll ball
Do not try to open Apple mouse if you need to clean the scroll ball. Unlike other mouse it's not designed to be taken apart, but the problem with it is that it does stop working sooner than others. If you try to open it, most likely you will break plastic pieces and putting them back together will be almost impossible.
Instead, use duck tape to clean the mouse. Unroll about 3-4 inches of the tape and roll the ball over it for 15-20 min. For some reason the duck tape is the only one that really works; perhaps the sticky surface is the most stickier. Try it and good Luck

This mouse is beautifully designed and well made. It feels like a decent piece of hardware that only Apple can make. I bet, one day it will be displayed in a museum of industrial design. Unfortunately it is not as comfortable as others, but I admit that this is a personal preference and the size of your hand has a lot to do with it. It works with Windows 7 but there are some problems. The cursor is a bit erratic or not as precise like other mouse design for Windows. Also the cursor moves slower and it speed can not be adjusted beyond some point.
I played with the settings, but these problems cannot be fixed. So, although the mouse works in Windows environment it is quite inaccurate.
Apple wireless keyboard works great.
